From 8 to 16 February 2019, the Ludwig Rauch Seminar of the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie will present the exhibition “From Head to Image and Back” in Studio 1 of the Kunstquartier Bethanien.
Why do we keep taking pictures? There is enough. They are omnipresent: in our mobile phones, on our tablets, sometimes still glued in albums. And in our heads. Especially in our heads. They are stored there, should be remembered or want to get out. Right now or tomorrow? Perhaps then the light will be more beautiful, the meadows greener, the sky wider and for sure I will take the time for it. Now tomorrow and everything will be as I had hoped. It can finally start. But where can I find what pulsated so strongly in my head yesterday? Where is it, this picture?

The exhibition “Vom Kopf zum Bild und zurück” shows 17 positions from the artistic field of photography.
