Today, Friday, 20.09.2019, Galerie Minimal, the Berlin gallery for minimalist photography, invites you to the last guided tour of the current exhibition “The Deconstructed Self” by Natalie Christensen.

Natalie Christensen, Deep Blue Pool
The Los Angeles Center for Digital Arts named Natalie Christensen one of the “Ten Photographers to Watch”. After exhibitions in London, New York and Los Angeles, the American photographer and psychotherapist presents her work “The Deconstructed Self” for the first time in Berlin.

Portrait Natalie Christensen, The Deconstructed Self
Natalie Christensen finds her motifs in the banal scenes of the periphery of the American Southwest. Fascinated by the unmistakable light and the crystal-clear air, she composes photographs of suburban everyday life whose symbolism penetrates deep into the subconscious and evokes stories that often seem disturbing, sometimes amusing, but always familiar.
